Research Grants

The National Osteoporosis Society is the only UK-wide Charity dedicated to improving the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of osteoporosis. Our vision is a future without fragility fractures. The Research Grants Programme is one of the many ways in which the Charity works to advance this vision.

Following a major evaluation of the outcomes of our research funding to date, we have revised our Research Strategy.  It was important to us to review our strategy before we committed to funding more research, to ensure that our funding decisions would be in line with the strategic priorities we identified, so that we continue to make the maximum impact with our resources.

As a result, we are now ready to launch our new grant funding round.  We are happy to announce that we are now accepting Stage One applications for grants.  The deadline for applications is 9am, 8th January 2018.
